Leinster Senior XC Championships

Running against some of the top runners in the country, Ger Forde had a great run in the Leinster Senior XC Championships placing 6th overall with a time of 34:18.

Park Runs (New Ross / Balbriggan)

At New Ross, Andy Keogh clocked a time of 34:24 for his 81st Park Run.

At Balbriggan, Michelle Doyle ran the Park Run at Ardgillan Castle and Demesne finishing with a time of 28:45 for her 120th Park Run. 

Slaney Olympic Winter Time Trial Series

Slaney Olympic Club Members are encouraged to participate in the Winter Time Trial Series taking place on the following Tuesdays at 7.15 PM: 12/11/19 – 1 mile; 26/11/19 – 2k; 03/12/19 – 1 mile; 17/12/19 – 2k; 14/01/20 – 1 mile and 21/01/20 – 3k.

Intervals and other types of speed work are essential to improving running speed (Frank Shorter)

The date for the annual Enniscorthy 10k has been set for Sunday, 16 February 2020. Over the next few weeks pay attention to the Slaney Olympic Athletic Club Facebook Page for more details.

Slaney Olympic was founded in 1991 to support the running community around Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford; located in the heart of Wexford, wearing the colours of Wexford.
