Medieval Mile Run (Kilkenny)

In the Marble City, Darragh Cloake had a brilliant run with a time of 5:23. Darragh came in 8th overall (out of 329 runners).

Park Runs (Wexford, New Ross, Waterford and Limerick)

At Wexford, Denis Whelan completed his first Park Run coming in second overall with a time of 18:04. Annis Kehoe clocked a time of 29:28 for her 115th Park Run.

At New Ross, Will Doyle finished first overall, and achieved a PB, with a time of 18:49 for his 28th Park Run.

At Waterford, Malgorzata Szymura finished her 29th Park with a time of 24:11.

At Limerick, Michelle Doyle completed her 123rd Park Run with a time of 27:05. Andy Staff completed his 99th Park Run with a time of 27:18. All going well, Andy will complete his 100th Park Run at New Ross on Saturday (21 December).

Slaney Olympic Winter Time Trial Series

Slaney Olympic Club Members are encouraged to participate in the Winter Time Trial Series taking place on the following Tuesdays at 7.15 PM: 03/12/19 – 1 mile; 17/12/19 – 2k; 14/01/20 – 1 mile and 21/01/20 – 3k.

Slaney Olympic Committee

At the AGM on Thursday (28 November) the Slaney Olympic Committee for 2020 was finalised and will remain relatively the same as it was in 2019. On behalf of the entire Club, I would like to thank our two departing Committee Members, Sabina Sweeney and Catherine Roche, for the time, effort and leadership they have given to the Club through their many years of service on the Slaney Olympic Committee. I would also like to welcome Thomas Crofts and Ger Murphy to the 2020 Slaney Olympic Committee.

29 December – Christmas Cracker Training Run, Old Dublin Road

16 February – Enniscorthy 10k

Slaney Olympic was founded in 1991 to support the running community around Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford; located in the heart of Wexford, wearing the colours of Wexford.
