Slaney Olympic Christmas Cracker

Slaney Olympic had runners take part in its annual Christmas Cracker out the Old Dublin Road. Sean Crotty was the first man home with a time of 17.55 and Catherine Roche was the first woman home with a time of 21.09; both received The David Carty Memorial Trophy.

Christmas Park Runs (Wexford)

A number of Slaney runners took part in the Christmas Park Run at Wexford. Dara Cloake completed his 25th Park Run with a time of 18:18 (4th overall). Paul Harpur finished his 103rd Park Run with a time of 22:48; Andy Staff finished his 101st Park Run with a time of 25:29; Michelle Doyle finished with a time of 26:46 for her 125th Park Run. Annis Kehoe clocked a time of 29:37 for her 118th Park Run.  

Park Runs (Wexford)

At Wexford, Paul Browne finished his 7th Park Run with a time of 19:45 (2nd overall). Paul Harpur finished his 103rd Park Run with a time of 23:28 and Annemarie Doyle finished her 31st Park Run with a time of 24:30.  

Creane & Creane Insurance Enniscorthy 10K

The Enniscorthy 10K will take place on Sunday (16 February 2020) at 12.00 PM (Lifestyle Fitness, on the Old Dublin Road, is serving as the HQ for the race). The route this year promises to be fast as there is a minimal 94-metre rise over the entire 10K route. Slaney Olympic Winter Time Trial Series

Slaney Olympic Club Members are encouraged to participate in the Winter Time Trial Series taking place on the following Tuesdays at 7.15 PM: 14/01/20 – 1 mile and 21/01/20 – 3k.

Slaney Olympic was founded in 1991 to support the running community around Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford; located in the heart of Wexford, wearing the colours of Wexford.
