The third last leg of the Donohoe Skoda Summer League was hosted by Brendan Dillon in Rathnure over a lovely rolling 6k course.  With ideal weather conditions, the race was hotly contested between John McGrath from United Striders and Martin Monaghan, with John McGrath edging away in the closing mile to win on 20.48.  First Slaney man home was Bobby Redmond in a time of 21.21.  Catherine Roche continued her winning ways coming home first in 25.32 and Esther O Leary was first Slaney Lady home in a time of 26.58.

Spot prizes were awarded to Angus Rothwell and Jessie O Connor.

Many thanks to Race Director Brendan Dillon on a great night of racing and also to all the marshals and helpers.  Next race in Friday 17th August in Ballindaggin, race distance is 6K and Race Director is Ciara Kearney.  Race Starts at 7.30, registration at Jordan’s Pub.
