The Donohoe Skoda Summer League continued tonight with the inaugural Castlebridge 6k Road Race organised by Race Director Martina O Sullivan.  A challenging and scenic course with plenty of lung busting hills and drags but with a fast 2k sprint to the finish line.  First across the line was SBR’s Paul Gibbons in 21.11 followed by the First Slaney man home Conail Cooper in 21.18, first lady to cross the finish was Mary Gorham in 25.39 and First Slaney Lady was Louise Nolan Ryan in 27.49.  Spot prizes went to Deirdre Bowers Kavanagh and Michael Kinsella .
