The second last race of the Summer League Series was held tonight on a wet and windy night, this time the location was Monageer for a 5K road race organised by Race Directors Conail Cooper and Martina O Sullivan.  A 5K looped course starting just outside the village and finishing at the local school.  Refreshments were held afterwards for all involved in the Monageer Tavern.

First across the line and continuing his winning ways was Farmer Monaghan in a time of 17.22, and first Slaney man home for the club was David Kehoe in 19.12.  Kelly Long was the first lady home in 21.45 and First Slaney lady home was Katey Gregan in 22.16.  Spot Prizes on the night was won by Siobhan O Leary and Seamus O Toole.

Many thanks to everyone to helped and marshalled, it is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately we had a problem with the clock, near the close of the race, if runners would like their time recorded just messenge our page and we will add them in.
