The Donohoes Skoda Summer League continued this evening with the Sliabh Bhui 6K Trail Run.  This was unknown territory for a lot of Slaney runners who embraced the challenge that awaited them, 75 runners took part in the race which began just below Butterfly Equestrian Centre.  First man home was Slaney Olympic’s Farmer Monaghan in 23.17 and first Slaney man home was Bobby Redmond in 24.57.  First lady home was Kilmore’s Jackie Carty in 27.41 and first Slaney Lady home was Emily O Connor in 29.17.  Spot prizes were awarded to Helena Browne and Paul Browne.

Many thanks to Race Director Vanessa McShane, marshals and helpers whom without their help this race wouldnt happen.   Thanks once again to Matt Murphy for the great photographs.
