A motely group of club members got together last Friday night in Donohues where Deirdre and Tim Corrigan presented awards to the best Enniscorthy runners in the Dublin Marathon. There was also a special award for a certain some one else….
Deirdre Corrigan presented Conaill Cooper with the mens award. Conaill completed the marathon in a personal best time of 2hours 39 minutes. Tim Corrigan presented the womens award which went to Martina Conran who had a great debut run in the marathon.
Madame Chairman, Jane Porter then made a special presentation to the amazing Kay O’Regan to mark the completion of her 100th marathon in Dublin. There was also a big box of sweeties for Joe in recognition of his undying support!
