The third race in the Slaney Olympic Audi Summer League took place in a downpour on 14th June. Despite the conditions there was a good field of 55 runners. The Gibbons brothers, Myles and Paul, finished first and second respectively with Jason O’Connor firft man home for the club in 3rd position. Catherine was first lady.
The sun came out as the last runners crossed the finish line. Well done to Ger Dempsey and team for putting on a great race as usual and for the hospitality afterwards.
