With the cross country season drawing to a close we are going to have a 5 race club winter league to get some speed into the legs!

There will be a race over the five Wednesdays in January (first race on 2nd Jan) from the bus stop opposite St Senan’s to the footbridge at the end of the promenade. The distance is approx 3K. We will meet and register at the carpark behind the Riverside at 6.15 – 6.30pm and then jog out to the start. There will be a staggered start with Jason working out the handicaps so we should all finish together!! Lar has volunteered to do the timekeeping. He will need some help so volunteers are welcome! Everyone must wear a high vis vest. We will have them available on the night. Also runners must stay on the footpath coming in from St Senan’s.

Entry for each race is only €2 and there will be some modest prizes at the end of the league. So let’s see you all out there!
