There was a great turnout for the 6th Summer League race in Clonroche organised by Race Director, Neil Hudson. This was followed by a kiddies assault course race organised by Jason O’Connor.
The 5K, two lap course was won by Paul Gibbons of SBR with clubmate Tommy Mc Elwain in second place. First Slaney Olympian home was Jason O’Connor in third place. Catherine Murphy of Slaney Olympic was first lady with Ann Bolger second and Joan Doyle third. Full results are below.
The kiddies race was a great success with over 30 taking part. After that it was back to the GAAclubhouse for refreshments and prize giving.
